Eligibility Criteria for AICTE Scholarships

To apply for any of these scholarships, students must understand the eligibility criteria.

AICTE-Saksham Scholarship SchemeOffered to students with a 40% disability, requiring a degree or diploma from an AICTE-recognised college, and a family income of INR 8,00,000 or less.
AICTE Pragati Scholarship for GirlsThis grant is offered to female students who have taken admission to the first or second year through lateral entry at a technical diploma/degree program at an AICTE-recognized college. The annual income of the family must not exceed INR 8,00,000. Only two girl students can apply for this grant.
AICTE PG (GATE/GPAT) ScholarshipStudents with qualifying marks in GATE/GPAT can apply. Candidates must have taken admission in the 1st year of M. Arch/ M. Pharma/ M. Tech/ or M.E programs at an AICTE-recognised college. Students must have a personal savings account. Applicants studying in part-time courses are not eligible.
AICTE-National Doctoral Fellowship SchemeThis is offered to the research scholars studying in an AICTE-approved institute. Students must have a minimum CGPA of B. Pharm/ B. Tech or B.E and M. Pharm/ M. Tech or M.E. They must have 7.5 on the scale of 10. Candidates must have completed GATE/GPAT in the last five years. The age of the candidate should be less than 30 according to the last date of the application. There’s a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH applicants.
Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), J&KStudents of Jammu & Kashmir can apply. They must have passed class 12 from CBSE-affiliated or J&K Board schools in J&K. Candidates who have completed a diploma after class 10 from J&K State in Polytechnics can also apply. Candidates must be willing to study regular general/professional/medical degree programs from the listed colleges in PMSSS outside J&K. The annual income of the family must not exceed INR 8,00,000.

Ans. The Post Graduate Scholarship is granted to students admitted to AICTE-approved institutions/courses with a valid GATE/GPAT score at the time of admission.
