How to Reset the NSP Login Password?

How to Apply for One-Time Registration (OTR) of NSP Login?

It is mandatory to have an OTR Number to apply for any scholarships through the NSP Portal. No fee is required for OTR, but you must have an active mobile number to apply. You have to follow the steps below to apply for One-Time Registration:

  • Visit the NSP official website at scholarships.gov.in.
  • Select the “Students” option from the homepage.
  • Right under the OTR option, select the “Login” button.

  • Agree with the guidelines of OTR and give the Aadhar consent.
  • Select the “Next” button, and it will take you to the next page.
  • Enter your valid mobile number in the given field and select “Get OTP”.
  • Provide the OTP in the given field and complete the Captcha verification.
  • Then, click on the “Verify” option for the next step.

After that, you have to complete the e-KYC process to complete the registration. Upon successful registration, you will receive a reference number on your registered mobile number.

You have to download the NSP OTR app and the Aadhaar Face RD service on your Android device. Complete the Face-Authentication by using the reference number that you received. Once you complete the Face-Authentication, OTR will be generated. Once the OTR is allotted, you can apply for the scholarship schemes through the NSP portal.

Aadhaar is also required to register for OTR. If the Aadhaar is not assigned, then you can use the Enrollment ID (EID) for Aadhaar. For minor students, they can use the Aadhaar card of their parents for registration.
